Ingredients

firm tofu

tsp
kosher salt
½
tsp
five-spice powder

Tbsp
sweet chili sauce
2
scallions
thinly sliced

panko bread crumbs
Instructions
How to make crispy tofu
Press the tofu for 10 minutes.
Cut the tofu into 8 squares.
Season the tofu with kosher salt, and five-spice powder. Gently rub into the tofu.
Place a dab of sweet chili sauce on top of each tofu square, spread the sauce over the tofu, and sprinkle the scallions over the top.
Sprinkle and press the panko bread crumbs onto the top of the tofu.
Repeat with the other side.
Cook in an air fryer for 25-30 minutes set at 400 degrees.
The tofu should be crispy and a light golden brown color.
If you don’t have an air fryer the oven works just fine. Place the tofu on a baking sheet, and cook in an oven set at 425 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
